  Wireless Access Points Upgrade
The wireless Access Points (APs) in Complex Building and Multisport Pavilion have already been upgraded from IEEE 802.11b standard (11Mbps) to high speed IEEE 802.11g standard (54Mbps).
All locations at the headquarters (including the academic and administrative buildings) are now fully covered by 802.11g wireless signal.
After the upgrade, users should see greater signal strength from the wireless network around campus. The upgraded wireless network will also allow more users to connect at the same time. The upgraded wireless network supports wireless network "roaming", that is, users will be able to move around campus without needing to reboot their computers in order to re-connect to the wireless network.
For more information about accessing MPI wireless network, please refer to the webpage http://csc.ipm.edu.mo/wireless
