Kingsoft's PowerWord 2007 and Dr.eye 8.0 Professional are two frequently used Chinese / English bi-directional dictionaries and computer aided translation tools. In order to simplify the purchase procedure, to reduce the workload for individual purchase and to allow more students/staff to use these software, Computer Service Centre has recently purchased their respective campus licenses. Starting from the 08/09 academic year, all computers in computer labs and classrooms at headquarters will be equipped with both software.
For those staff who would like to use the captioned software in the coming academic year, please submit a service request via SRMS (http://srms.ipm.edu.mo) for installation arrangement (it is suggested to choose either one of them) without the need to fill in the Computer Hardware & Software Request Form.
