New IT Facilities and Services in the 2nd Semester

In order to provide better and more diversified IT facilities and services, starting from the second semester, the following new IT facilities and services will be put into use:
I. Computer Lab. Equipment / System Upgrade

Installed 50 All-in-one PCs with 21.5” LCD (Windows XP/7 coexist)

Installed 29 new Mac Pro Computers

Installed 29 new Core i7 PC Computers ((Windows 7)

Installed 29 Mac Pro Computers (originally from Lab. A215A)
II. New Self-Service Copier / Printer installed in Public Lab. A213 and Library
Starting from the 2nd semester, four self-service copiers/printers will be ready to use in Lab. A213 and Library. Users can use their “MacauPass” smartcard to make photocopies and to print from network. The service fees are listed in the following table:
