Replacement of Staff Email System Completed


The staff e-mail server replacement and email migration works have been completed successfully. The new email system will provide greater storage space (2GB per full-time staff / 1GB per part-time staff). The new system implements the latest Web 2.0 technology for providing better webmail user interface, the URL is No change is required for users who run POP3/IMAP (Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird) email client.

The "Email Forwarding" setting has also been migrated to the new system. User is not require to change the setting. However, during the service interruption period (October 16 & 17), the e-mail forwarding service was temporarily unavailable. Thus, we strongly recommend the affected users to access for checking if there is any e-mail not yet forwarded.
