How to configure Netscape Mail to filter messages or senders?
  1. You can do this in 2 ways: using the "Tools" menu or the "Message" menu (on the top menu of Netscape).
In the"Tools" menu, select "Message Filters".

  2. The "Message Filters" window appears. Click "New".

  3. The "Filter Rules" window appears. In this window you can define the factors you want the filter to affect (in the left drop-down menu) as well as the text to identify in the message (in the right drop-down menu).

  4. Click "OK" to start using the defined filter.
  5. If you want to stop receiving email from a specific sender, choose "Sender" from the left drop-down menu, choose "is" from the right dropdown menu and input the mail address you want to block.
  6. Click "OK" to enable the filter.

  Using the Message Menu:
  1. Select the message you want to use to set up the filter or block the sender.
  2. Go to the Message Menu and select "Create Filter From Message...'.

  3. Follow the same steps as described for the "Tools" menu.
