  Configuring Outlook Express to access the email service
 
1. From Outlook menu, select Tools ---> Accounts.
 
2. The Internet Accounts window opens. Select the Mail tab and click Add and select Mail.
 
3. You will be prompted with a Wizard. Type your name in the text field and click Next.
 

4. Type your MPI mail address and click Next.
 
5. On the next screen you'll have to input the information regarding the mail server. Please, follow these instructions:
 
At "My incoming mail server is a", select POP3 Server
 
At both "Incoming mail" and "Outgoing mail", please type mail.ipm.edu.mo and then, click Next.
 

6. On the follwing screen, you'll have type your NetID in the Account name field and your NetID password. Click Next.
 

7. Click Finish, to exit the Wizard.
 
8. In order to secure the messages exchange, click on Properties.
 
9. On the Properties window, click on the Advanced tab and check the box next to "This server requires a secure connection(SSL)". Click the OK button to finish.
 
10. Click Close, to return to Outlook Express inbox.
